The
problem.
Looking for a first job in Poland means opening the same three boards every morning and reading a hundred listings to find the four worth applying to. The reading is the work, and it is the part nobody can outsource — until a model can be given the resume and told to do the first pass.
What we did
- Aggregates vacancies from Adzuna, NoFluffJobs and Remotive, with Claude building the search queries from the resume rather than from hand-typed keywords
- Two models by job size: Haiku scores every vacancy 0–10 because it runs on hundreds of rows, Sonnet writes the cover letters because they are read by people
- A Telegram Mini App for the triage itself — swipe left to skip, right to save — served by FastAPI from the same process as the bot
- Application tracker with statuses and date grouping, plus /feedback to have the resume itself critiqued
- PostgreSQL behind a threaded connection pool, every row scoped by chat_id so the bot is multi-user from the start
